Engineering

Engineering is the process that gets us from plain science and math to new technology. It is a skill that is applied to many different fields. It's creativity, it's technicality, it's inventing and improving. Engineering is what makes the world go forth and become better than it was. It is the application of knowledge to design or construct things that you used everyday (like this computer or phone), and also things that you might never see in person, much less use. Our STEAMPORT program, explores the different types of engineering, starting with things like DC Motors and vibration robots or the classic spaghetti towers.
